A 15- year old middle school student from Ocala, Florida, was arrested for eight counts of battery after high-fiving students and teachers while having a tack stuck to his hand. After being arrested, the student told police that he was simply being playful.
First off, these teachers must have been new since they were stupid enough to initiate any physical contact with a student. Any experienced teacher would have realized that something suspicious was going on.
As for the student, involving the cops seems somewhat extreme. However, the idiot should face some sort of consequence, but personally, I think a good ass kicking from those that he pricked would be a more appropriate form of punishment. Pain is one of the most effective ways to teach common sense to a person.
