Hackers Try to Cause Seizures

By exploiting a security breach of the Epilepsy Foundation's Web site, hackers attempted to cause epileptic seizures to visitors. The hackers found a way to bypass the site's security in order to flood the forums with posts containing flashing messages. Some of the sites visitors developed migraines and near-seizure reactions to the images. This incident was much different than usual hacking assaults since clearly the only purpose was to physically harm people.

Total jackasses, that pretty much sums it up. Why else would someone take the time to do this? These hackers certainly aren't going to be able to see any of the pain they caused. The only satisfaction they could possibly get out of this is by thinking "Well, I definitely screwed up somebody's day." One can only hope that these hackers are struck by a massive series of seizures which cripples them and prevents these idiots from doing anymore harm to the world.
